So I don't have the money to buy the budget camera that Andy recommends. My friend whos a photographer suggested that I buy the Nikon D3500 with the kit.

Do you guys have any other budget friendly suggestions,? 300-600 Canadian

Funny you ask. I was looking on kijiji today and looked like there were a few decent ones...

Dunno what province you're in, but this is as far as I can tell is a good camera that fits you're budget...

Living in Ontario . I don't know much about cameras, so hard to gauge weather if i am getting a good deal or not.

What are you looking for?

I was just seeing how much an entry level DSLR is. That's really it. Not going to buy anythinf for another month or so. But I'd figure I'd start researching and getting familiar with it now.

Second hand is always an option. It may be a few years older, but remember they still took good photos a few years ago

So after a bit of research I have found that the Nikon d3500 has a better optimized auto foucs which is a plus and it can wirelessly connect to my phone so i can view what the camera is seeing

Maybe double check if the d3500 can be viewed on your phone.
