Easiest way to start a blog?

For those of you that have blogs, which service do you use? So far Wordpress looks like the best option. This would be only a hobby so I do not need anything fancy. I am looking for a cheap and easy to use service.

I second WordPress. Simple to use once you get the hang of it. Once you want something more complicated, more often than not there are tools for what you want, just because it powers 40% of the web.
