First ever picture. What should I do with my face?

Picture is on my profile. Today I have took a picture of myself for the first time ever. And I'm glad I have.
There are plenty of things to work on. And before I get to camera angles and finding a workout plan, I would like to start with something simpler, and ask you all what do you think I should do with my beard and hair? They've always been a mess so I want to straighten them out. I heard the beard is a plus for my age. Should I take it off?
