i didn't appload my log last, i got the cold and had 2 days of fever, etc but after 48 hours i was mostly ok and back to working out. I want to improve my life and get an elite body...but you can't do that with pericarditis, inflamation of the heart

Italy is turning into a totalitarian socialist country, to be able to work you need the vaccine, i'm lucky enough to be able to work without the vaccine pass, but they worried we get discovered and get fined, so they're suggesting me to get the shot

i'm so scared, after years of grinding and self improvement a myocarditis would be a tragedy, look at what happened to this guy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rZZTPp-eYU

i know it's rare, but not really that rare either, specially prevalent in young man, i'm scared getting the jab will ruin my life, lifting weights and sports are my life right now

vaccine mandates are political

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnB8Tep92Us&t=1547s

they are calling no vax criminals, even if people who got the jab are as likely to get and transmit covid..

what do you think? i'm very worried and scared for my life :(

politics aside, all evidence points to vaccination being your best option if you want to minimize the risk of very bad health outcomes related to COVID-19.

before vaccines were available, I got COVID-19 and even talked about it in my log. i was extremely physically active before that and even ran 1 mile in under 6 minutes flat, just days before getting the virus. after that, I had chest pain for months and was worried and terrified that I had gotten myocarditis or some other long-term complication as a result. anecdotally, getting vaccinated made that chest pain go away and allowed me to return to a feeling of normalcy.

do whatever you want, but i reiterate that even a modicum of research will reveal that the best way to avoid long-term negative outcomes is to get vaccinated. and then you can stop living in fear and get back to your life and goals.

Both the above comments have good points.

1) Mandates are silly for a lot of reasons. Only partially backed up by data. And if you have had COVID you're much more immune than someone who hasn't but has even vaxxed.

2) The side effects from the vaccine are DRASTICALLY less than getting ACTUAL COVID. Sure, there is a lot to be said about breakthrough cases - but to be 100% clear, if you have to choose between the vaccine and the virus, the vaccine is better EVERY TIME. COVID itself has a much higher risk of myocarditis than the vaccines.

That said, if you don't want to get a vaccine, that's 100% your choice and I support it. I haven't gotten the jab myself and I plan not to, at least for a few years until there's more long term data.

In which case, I'd suggest you find a way to come to a more free country ASAP. Here in the USA, a few states are being stupid with mandates like California etc. and some cities like NYC are mandating vaccine passports.

That said, many states are vehemently against mandates. Here in Texas is one good example. Florida too. I'd start doing research and making a plan to come over (or go to another country without mandates). It's hard, it's a big life change, but if this is important to you, you've gotta do it.

You can find a way man. Uber, or a friend driving you etc. If you're just gonna complain about it and do nothing, this isn't the place to do it. Planes and trains aren't the only way to travel. Where there's a will, there's a way.

I say with all things covid your personal decisions of how you protect yourself are up to you.
Like I had to get the vaccine cause I have asthma. If someone else doesn’t wanna get it hey that’s their prerogative.

Haven't had it.

All my friends, family, etc, have had it.

They had had no issues.

I personally do a lot to stay healthy.....like, you may think I am crazy because of my processes, routines, etc.

I will be the healthiest I can be while I am in this world and will raise a very healthy family. It's very important to me.

I would actually consider taking it in the future, once I understand more.
