I'm Bradley Post, 21, and live in Orlando, Florida, USA. I've been focused as hell on my goals this month and have given myself permission to suck. But being autistic, I remind myself that even the smallest wins are huge. I used to be in small special education classes until 3rd grade because I had behavior problems that most teachers weren't trained to handle. On my old reports from school, there were doubts that I would be ready to attend college. I didn't make my first real friend until 17, and I've been in therapy most of my life to deal with these challenges. Most of you guys on this forum are better off than I am. But I'm not letting a diagnosis stop me in 2023. Here are some victories for the month. Sure, I haven't gotten laid yet, and not everything that happened this month ended on a happy note. But I'd rather try something and screw up than never try out of fear. Anything I do is better than sitting on the couch.

- I found a job as a pricing analyst with a local company. I start Monday and earn $45k for the first 90 days, then $50k + a quarterly bonus after. Really good for a 21 year old. Negotiated for 7 days PTO (originally 5) after talking w/ my dad.

- I went on my first date of the year with a girl I met off Tinder. She unfortunately left early and claimed I was extremely rude and said she didn't feel comfortable being around me. I'm taking the date as a learning experience and reflecting on what I did wrong. I have more confidence now because a girl I thought was "out of my league" showed up on a date and was really interested initially.

- Last night, some girl on Tinder messaged me and was super DTF. I drove to a hotel at 2:30am and when I got there, she was either very drunk or on drugs (likely both). She was asking me bizarre questions, speaking unintelligibly, and then told me to leave. But the way she told me to leave, with her tone, mannerisms, and state of mind, honestly freaked me out. I assumed someone might've been after me, as it was past 3am. Nothing happened, she might've just lost interest by the time I got there and was looking for a fast fling. I learned the hard way to be more careful who I go for and to not allow desperation to cloud my judgement.

- I've been going out more to events as well to improve my social skills. I practice making eye contact with girls, reading social cues, telling stories, and active listening. I've been going to the gym three times a week and I notice that even after just three weeks, my arms are getting bigger.

- Honestly, I wouldn't have been able to accomplish this without quitting porn. I'm on day 34 and I feel more stimulated by daily activities. I can finally appreciate the sunset, nice weather, and the green grass. I'm motivated to improve my online dating profiles and I'm finding friends to go out to clubs with. I didn't realize how bad it was until I quit and started to notice my reward system fixing itself.
