Picture Feedback Megathread

I tried now several images with only medium results in Tinder. This means around 10-20 likes a day in the first few days. Then it goes rapidly down to 1-2 likes a day. But the quality of women who are liking me are below my expectations. So it would be cool to get honest feedback what I can improve?

FYI: Some images are older, some newer.

Are these partly AI pics? Honest feedback: In the first few pictures you seem unfriendly, not approachable, in a bad mood, in the others you seem somehow goofy, extremely harsh contrast.
Try to get something in between as a“vibe”.

btw are you german?

I don't really like any of these tbh. Your expressions aren't flattering,

And in your dog picture, it looks very forced. It's gotta look natural, like the dog actually loves you, rather than you forcing it into your lap for a photo.

Take a look at pictures with more flattering expressions, and try to emulate that.

https://killyourinnerloser.com/inspiration/ This is a good starting point.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

Partly yes. I trained a custom model on my own photos (just shooted some for the custom model) to test which photos I could take of my own, working good and would fit to my style. So clothing, face, body, etc. are very close to how I look in real life. The other, non-AI images are a bit older (few years).
But if they are easily recognized as AI images I shouldn't use them.

Also the harsh contrast between "goofy" and "unfriendly" makes sense. I will try to make new ones which are more in the middle.

Correct, I am german. You're also?

Also thanks for the feedback. I didn't thought that I look so unfriendly at these pictures. But it seems that it is hard to evaluate photos of myself. I will try to get more flattering expressions.

I went out with a friend a few days ago and we took a bunch of pics on a nearby campus. This was trial and error for both of us. Which of these pics are usable?

Thoughts on these two images I am going to re launch my dating profile and these are two recent images I took before I went on my overseas trip, my biggest fail was not getting any good shots to this quality on my overseas trip but oh well

Thoughts on either of these two images. Not my bike but I loved how it matched the outfit. Would need to edit them a bit

The pose and facial expression in the 2nd pic looks not good. The first pic is solid, give yourself a slight smile with FaceApp

Not sure if I've gone over board on the retouching and thanks for the feedback.

Yo guys, a friend of mine took a couple of photos that I like.

Do you think they could be a good leading photo for my tinder profile?
Which one do you think would yield better results?
Thanks in advance :)

Hanged out with a hot young blond yesterday and she let me to check her tinder. Most of the matches, like 3/4 were average/good looking guys with selfies and mirror selfies! Only small minority had actually good portrait shots.

Didn't check messages much but openers were boring and basic like usually.

I dont know, this could be country based thing? But I think we are going "backwards" with photos, DSLR quality portrait shots are not it anymore.

1.I am just going to throw my two cents. Your clothing looks good all black with white sneakers + accessories, you can still improve by adding an outerwear item that goes with the outfit.
2.When you are taking pics women are trying to figure out who you are. The only things I know about you is maybe you have a cool black dog but probably not. And you like to stand in strange places. Things you can take pictures of, what do you do for work, are you an engineer, then take a pic of u building something? what are hobbies you have? Do you play soccer? Do you box, or guitar or anything? do you have any pets, then take pics with them? I can give you some free ideas, you like taking pictures. Then take a bunch of picture of you taking pictures and choose one. You has frens then take pics of you chilling with your friends. Do you eat, then take a picture of you at a local restaurant or something or somewhere where a women can picture what a first date with you would look like.
3. I cannot see your eyes in most of the pictures. Women like to see your eyes. or your eyes are to blurry.
4. Try to get a little bit closer to the camera, in my experience pics just look better when you are taking up more room in the picture.

For hobbies there's currently calisthenics and thats about it. I went years without being able to fit any hobbies into my budget (I also sold my gaming pc.) Just another area where I'm playing catch up.

I was looking at calisthenics photos on instagram for some ideas and those guys are on another level god damn

Trying to figure out the whole real camera vs phone photos thing

My theory is that younger 18-25 year olds were/are so exposed to "high quality imagery" through social media and advertising, that they don't trust it. Also the way social media has changed it is now an advertising platform. A company can pay an amount to come up on your newsfeed "are guys with these real camera photos just paying to sell to me?" vs "oh he looks cool in a regular phone photo = he didn't pay = he must be authentic"

I remember IG back in 2014 before advertising, it felt like a bigger visual chatroom/ an image board with my mates. My feed was just a chronological feed of thing my mates were doing. I know personally now my guard was up when using social media - its not my friends it's advertising buying my attention.

Still not sure need more data points
