Best wat around a Tinder ban?

Hey all, new member here, working on the basics. Tinder isn't currently an option for me and I'd like to fix that. They've had me banned for about 6 years now and I haven't had any luck in getting around it. Long story short, when I was 18 I used the line "Wish I could say you were beautiful, but I can't yet" followed by (after her "Why?") "because true beauty comes from within, and I haven't been inside you yet." Stupid? Yes. But I stand by it being funny. Actually got me laid a couple times, too.

Anyway, obviously it was far too crass and ended up upsetting some people. I've heard of people using a Google voice # and VPN to change their IP; just wondering if anyone else has any tried and true methods. I think it's a tad ridiculous that I have no way of appealing after literally 6 years, I'm not an immature 18yo dumbass anymore, but hey, that's Tinder.

Hard reset. pancakemouse has a good guide on Reddit, I'm not sure if his blog has it also. I'll let him chime in.

Tinder is easier to get back on than hinge.

If I already did a face verification in the past will they recognize me if I make a new account but don't verify?

I doubt it, but maybe modify the photos just to be safe.

The general consensus is that facial recognition is not used, because it's impractical. Photo recognition on the other hand is very possible. OKC admitted to using it, and hinge and tinder are owned by the same parent companies

I've seen reports of guys that have gotten recognized in this way, but it's unclear. It also doesn't really make sense because Tinder claims that they delete biometric data immediately after capture in their Terms of Service.

Like most things Tinder-related, the best answer is "just try it out and report back".

As if corporations ever follow the rules 🤣

When I register Tinder with my phone number, it says "Your phone carrier isn't supported. Please try a new number", any idea to fix this problem?

I made a new tinder profile recently and I was only getting the ugliest dogs I've ever seen. I don't know what happened, but I had a profile on the same phone # from a few years back. Anyhow, I tried Hinge a few months ago and I was matching with a ton of good looking girls, so I knew something was up with Tinder.

I did a hard reset using a different email address and google voice to get a new phone number. I can't say the matches I'm getting are anywhere near what I'm finding on Hinge, but doing this reset increased the quality of matches on profiles I was seeing substantially.
