I've already started doing AA a year ago, back when I lived in the Netherlands, but I could only put in the weekends, if that, due to my job, gym, trying to cram programming studies somewhere in there and then stopping for a while after getting my first girlfriend.
Even with such a choppy, inconsistent schedule I managed to get to day 19 after almost 9 months. Day 19 was extremely difficult, ended up bawling my eyes out on a park bench. I was completely aware of how dedicating continuous, consistent effort yielded way better and faster results than trying to give it a little bit of attention every once in a while ever could, so I've stopped completely until I had saved enough to move to Barcelona, where I could dedicate 100% to this single goal.

Approach Anxiety Log:

Day 4:
"Walk up to 5 women and ask them for the time. LEAVE."
Part 1: 1:30h and 3 days.

Took me a while to get back into the groove since I had completely shut down everything outside of work and gym for 4+ months, I was taking all the overtime I could and working on my car to make it more sellable before moving to Barcelona. Plus quite stressed about having to deal with everything else paperwork related.


Day 5:
"Walk up to 5 women and ask them for the time. LEAVE."
"Walk up to 5 women again an ask them for the time, but do the drill faster. LEAVE."
Part 1: 40min
Part 2: 34min
And 3 days (yes)


Still struggled with approaching, but I kept at it, every single day - the same thing. Keep failing until I don't. The day I actually completed it felt much easier than the other attempts, I can feel the momentum picking up.
 
Day 6:
Part 1: "Time, Leave" 50 min.
Part 2: "Time, Directions, Leave" 50 min.
Part 3: "Time, Directions, Have you been there?, Leave"

At the start of part 2 I switched from only speaking in Spanish to starting out in English with the time and then asking for directions in Spanish. It appears that I'm getting better responses this way. A tallish blond, clearly gringo guy basically asking to see their expensive watches or phones in Spanish must be quite bizarre so 9/10 girls would just walk away or at best tell me the time while on the move away from me.
Plus I'm more comfortable doing the drills in English anyway.

The drill hasn't been completed and I will restart it tomorrow.
 
Day 6: Repeated since I didn't complete it yesterday

Part 1: "Time, Leave" 15 min.
Part 2: "Time, Directions, Leave" 20 min.
Part 3: "Time, Directions, Have you been there?, Leave" 1:20 h

Started off in English from the get go, much faster and easier, more favourable responses. Cute, big butt girl said "gracias" to ME for asking her directions 😂. A "y-you too" moment on her part.

Started a tinder account yesterday. Got 2 numbers and planned a date for Sunday.
If she doesn't flake this will be the first time I'll be going on an actual date.

Day 7

At the start of part 3 I started responding to tinder messages so my focus and momentum wandered and ultimately had to cut the day short, because I ended up planning a date coming up in 30 minutes.

36 year old Peruvian lady, average.
Rushed back home, dolled myself up some more, gave her an awkwardish hug (forgot the Spanish custom of cheek kisses), just grabbed her hand and held on to it the entire time, went for hot chocolate (Never having chocolate again, takes forever to consume, coffee or tea is faster). Took her to work (art gallery), grabbed her thigh, made out, squeezed her butt, she was quite into all of it.

It was my first actual date in my life so now I know what these things are, proverbially poked it with a stick, now I can see what can be done about improving my performance in them. Specifically reducing the price to the absolute minimum and not getting coaxed(or coaxing myself) into splashing more cash. I'm too generous for my own good and I'm on a strict budget here.

Got 2 more tinder dates with Latin girls tomorrow, this time younger. Will create accounts on other platforms and set up a bot to swipe them.

Didn't have this much success back in the Netherlands with the same pictures. Being a gringo is paying off.

Day 7: Tidying up

Had a tinder date with a clingy(I like that) 24, Bolivian girl. Very sweet and innocent, seemed quite down about her height since she's 175cm. Bad tinder pictures, pretty cute IRL. Ended up on a 3 hour tea date, had to flake on my other date for the day, who flaked on me, so it worked out.

Date:
Hug when I met her at the metro
Walked past my apartment and pointed it out
Got tea, shot a compliment, held her hand after that the entire time, she held up quite a bit of the conversation.
Went to my apartment to wash hands and pee, it was quite awkward, since I don't have a tv or any kind of music so we just sat in the kitchen talking, ended up kissing, don't remember how exactly
Went to the park nearby
Went home fooled around and then took it to my room
Was "up to to do it", but then didn't want to since I didn't have condoms, don't mind that, wasn't expecting to get this far on my second week of starting all this or even shagging on the first date
Cuddled and made out for like 4 hours straight, fingered her 3 times. She might have hoped that I would do more even though she resisted somewhat, not sure, but it was just right for me, I like all that slow stuff

Met up with the Bolivian girl again, walk in a nice park, very scenic and romantic, 7$ couples boat on a lake where you row yourself, went back home and banged with a condom and teased without one, 3 hours.

Sorting out documents and tinder is cutting into the AA time. I'll have to push some things aside to prioritise it more.
