Radicals Log - 90 Outfits

Outfit #11 - Navy & Cream

- vibe and occasion
Another casual out and aboot outfit. Probably needs another layer for the current Canadian weather tho

- Navy bomber on navy t-shirt
From uniqlo, we saw this a few outfits back. New piece so been working through some combinations i like for it
I like upper lower dark light contrasts with two colours

- Cream loose jeans & Asics japans
Navy/Cream is one of those colour schemes you see more in formal wear but i like testing
Straight white pants would probably be an edgier vibe than cream
I'll do some navy and white stuff soon

- 47 brand navy cap and short north star necklace
Always worth having caps in the major colours you wear

Outfit #12 Jacket n Graphic

Rough notes:
- vibe and occasion
Casual and potentially for going out in

- Levi Sherpa Type III
Classic piece, i've been in love with sherpas since i started this journey

- Taikan chinos paired with hi top converse
My favourite pants rn with my favourite shoe pairing for them
Black and black options to complete the underlayer

- Jenny graphic to add interest
I've always liked the graphic peaking throught the jacket look
This is a skate graphic from a local company, the style is fairly close to the Sans Pareil one i used to wear
Looking to grab either an IISE graphic or Represent one (if i can afford one, fuck me they are pricey)

- hat and rings
Hat is plain so as not to clash branding with graphics
(you can get away with this if you want, but i try to mute everything else if im wearing a graphic)
On reflection and now i have SMP i might ditch the hat and add in a tight chain necklace (so it doesnt hang into the graphic)

Digging this one. I need to pick up a casual day time jacket. I think a black denim or white denim, possibly a distressed version with band shirt underneath would fit my style. Thanks for the inspiration.

Two outfits here, both with a wool coat

Outfit #13 - last winters uniform

View attachment 1

- Vibe and occasion
another casual out and about daytime one

- wool coat on hoodie with undershirt
I really got into these casual wool coat outfits
Last winter i wore this as much as possible on dry days
Layering at its finest, you can switch in a sweatshirt here instead and wear a beanie and suddenly is smarter vibe wise

- 512s in stone grey
Still wear slim and fitted jeans on occasion
You can switch in some more stacked looser fits here and the outfit still works
I prefer fitted pants to pair with the wool coat generally though

- Asics Japans
breaking the new sneakers in
I was doing this outfit with either stans or AF1s previously

Outfit #14 - Smarten up

- vibe and occasion
What i wore for coffee with my parents last month
I have this side of the wardrobe too, its a small segment though due to lack of occasions i need it
A side goal i have as a stylist is to be able to execute all the most popular styles and some of the niche ones - even if im not going to wear them. Just helpful to have range

- wool coat over waffle stitch shirt
The coat in the vibe its intended for but still relatively casual underlayer

- grey suit pants and choc brown loafers
The suit pants are tailored, my waist to seat ratio is a bit awkward and usually requires this
Love these loafers, in a list of items id have all men own everyone would have a good pair of loafers (style and colour optional)
They retail at like $350 but i got them half price due to dating the store manager

- cashmere scarf
Sentimental piece, my mother bought it for me
Grey of it does somewhat colour match the pants

Some good bass house

Fuck im busy. And by extension fuck im tired.

Need to find some chill days but no rest for the wicked etc

Outfit 15 - Splash of colour

View attachment 1

Vibe and occasion
- out and about again
- ive technically worn this on a date but it was very chill daytime thing with a girl i'd already fucked a few times

Bomber, hoodie, undershirt layering
- said id not be doing hoodies much this year, what a lie thats becoming. They just are too useful for layering in cold
- picked up this last year when racing green was all the rage.
- Sad to see there not be as many options in this green out this year, its a sick colour

501 93s and air forces
- but of course

Rings and black sox hat
- i have a green hat but its in olive so not useful here, black is safe option

Try and put some colour in your outfits every now and again
Or dont, whatever

We can do all black forever
Check this one out

Outfit 16 - You'll like it if you just HATE COLOURS (i need sleep)

vibe and occasion
- a funeral but its casual wear

bomber, hoodie layering
- i did try the undershirt again here when testing pieces, it works to break up all black sometimes but it was pretty meh in this one
- you may notice im tying the hoodie strings, you dont have to do this i just like the look of it

relaxed chinos and vans
- probably better to use the 501s really but they went to the other outfit, gotta rotate

faux suede sox hat and rings
- this hat would have more utility if i could risk wearing it in the rain, it doesnt go outside much in Vancouver's winter

Happy new year lads

Xmas lead up and post Xmas sales are a great time to refresh a wardrobe
Been collecting some new key pieces and figured id switch up the format and work some outfits with these pick ups

There's 11 outfits total here

New pieces:
Uniqlo Wide Fit Cargos in Olive
Abercrombie Straight Fit Jeans in Light Indigo
Abercrombie Denim Bomber Jacket in Black

Pickup #1

Im a slut for jackets so we will start there.
Saw this option in Abercrombie, their line has incredibly solid this year
Never been into their stuff before tbh
Loved the silhouette of it and the collar design

+ cream pants & Asics

View attachment 9

This 2nd combo works really well imo

+ cargos & AF1s

View attachment 8

In my wardrobe this is functionally replacing the Alpa Industries bomber which is now going out of rotation for a bit

Pickup #2

Wide fit cargos
I've wanted a decent pair for ages in a wider fit but i have issues with the quality of a lot of cargo pants (the seem to detoriate fast)
Uniqlo have come in with a great heavy fabric option

Paired casually with grey hoodie, Af1s and grey hat

Paired casually with grey crewneck, AF1s and grey hat

View attachment 6

Hoodie pairing looks better atm because my grey crewneck isnt a heavy option (looking to upgrade this with a Stussy graphic option soon)

Paired with Sherpa Denim, AF1s and Grey Beanie

View attachment 4

I really like this combo

I also decided to pair with the black jacket and black cap

View attachment 5

This works ok but I try not to pair 2 different dark shades much in outfits & I prefer dark shade/light shade combinations

Pickup #3
Abercrombie straight jeans
I was torn here between these and Levi 514s but Abercrombie's fit felt better when i tried them both on the same day
Straight fits are suddenly all the rage this season and im liking it

Blue pairing with the Navy bomber, Asics and beanie

View attachment 3

Pairing with black denim jacket from before, black wash crewneck, Asics and black cap

View attachment 2

I got some more ideas how to use these but these first couple of pairings were what came to mind

**Something I returned

I picked up a green minimal bomber too in early December
After trying it on with a few things though I realised i didnt love it that much

It made one good outfit thanks to its colour matching with my element cap

View attachment 1

but the other couple of outfits were just kinda mid

It didnt spark much joy so sent it back

Signing off with more minimal
