I'm 27, decent looking but noob at taking photos, so i cant advertise myself properly. My goal is create a good social media and tinder profile. Also on my way to building a good looking body, reaching to 83 kg and %10 fat rate.

My story's a little long, then I'll tell other hour.

- A courtship with a girl that lasted about four months at age 14.
- Another courtship with another girl when i was 17. Just a summer vacation.

I'm 27, in London, doing reasonably well generally but always had less than great luck with girls. The catalyst for me signing up here being me recently getting overly invested in a girl who didn't want the same things. Figured I need to learn to get laid more and worry less about girls who don't feel the same.

Goals:

1) Get laid 5 times before the end of 2020 (with different girls)
2) Get in shape, build muscle mass - especially the arms - and work on my cardio

For everyone, I talked about him in my previous log as my friend in HK and pushing him to approach women in HK (I used to be there), and tonight, he was finally able to approach 2 hot girls, after being scared for so long. While he has still a long way to go, I am happy to see him take some action.

I also pushed him very often to make an account here, because I believe his dating life can greatly benefit from joining KYIL.

Andy's guide was actually very helpful, and his section on messaging makes things very easy to follow. I change some wording around to fit my style, but I copy the overall format. It not only helps with getting replies to go in the direction I want them to, but it also helps cut down on the BS. If this girl has no intentions of meeting up, I want to get out of that convo as soon as possible

Hey, im John, got into this stuff about a year and a half ago and took it as my top priority to GET FUCKING LAID and havent looked back since.

Well not really ive looked back plenty but havent reversed course. Living in south bay (LA) at this point, current goal is to finish my apartment (setting up furniture and shit) by October, and get as lean as reasonable (145lb or 8% bodyfat) by January 15th.
Hoping that corona will be over by then and I'll actually be able to go outside to get laid by that point.
In the mean time, also started 365 project of "taking a picture and putting it on my tinder" to get better at that.

But yeah the tinder guide is what got me started on this website. I’ve been working on part 1 And 2 for the past 2 weeks and I’ve bought lots of clothes accessories and fragrances and teeth whitening strips. I even went to the doctor yesterday to just get a general health check up. My heart has a perfect rhythm btw lol.

I’m not buying a DSLR anytime soon sadly tho because I have priorities in college, a new laptop would be so much better atm. I think I’ll get the new MacBook Air.

So I’m gonna have a look at part 3 of the tinder guide this week and hopefully get my game to the next level.

I suppose you could get a dslr and a decent notebook without apple logo for the price of macbook.

Anyway, if you are really on budget (well, you are not) you can also find some starting photographer and do some TFP photos. There is no guarantee of good results, but its free and probably better then phone selfies.
 
bestmanican If you're in college now, *most* of them have a way to check out dslrs, usually from the art department, but often science/engineering/business schools will have some too. May also poke around "hackerspaces"/"makerspaces" or join a photography club, they'd probably have some to loan out AND a ton of people to meet and learn from.

Or you could get literally anything OTHER than a macbook and save enough to buy a cheap camera. I think a lot of people never really question the "dominance" of apple, but when they actually take the time to look into it and, ironically, think differently (i.e. for THEMSELVES instead of letting a company do it for them), they come to the conclusion that there's not really anything that sets them apart EXCEPT the cost.
MSI makes really high-spec, well build computers, for example. Some are bulky, but they also have thinner/lighter models, on the level of macs.

Do you live in a big city or somewhat big city? If so, go on Instagram, under tags, and type in [#"yourcity"photographer], find someone who has very few posts on their account and offer to model for free for them.

I'm a big fan of photography so I have my own setup, but i've seen this happen countless several times as new photographer are always wanting people to shoot pics of to post to their IG

My name's Atul and I've been focusing on self-improvement for about 2 years. Some things I'm currently doing:

  • Spanish language lessons
  • Learning to drive
  • Programming (SQL and Python) with online courses
  • Have just enrolled in a boxing class (once a week)
  • Strength train at the gym 4 times a week (lift weights)

My goals:

The big one is to finally get laid. I haven't really tried wholeheartedly in this area and I'm not going to make excuses about it as my attempts have been limited and pisspoor to say the least. Reading Andy's origin story reminded me of my own, especially fighting depression, realising my self-worth and building myself back up after many years of relying on others for my happiness. I actually never sought out sexual partners due to feeling inadequate but some major life experiences put me on the path of self-improvement and I will never again return to what I once was. I have been on a handful of dates, meeting girls in real-life and online, but don't know how to escalate sexually.
- Start having sex
- Have sex regularly at least once a week (can start with once a month)
- Have sex with 5 different women in the next 12 months

Improve my aesthetic appeal and get ripped
- 15% body fat within next six months (currently around 20%)
- Getting a look that's stylish, attractive and congruent with the person I wish to present myself as

Socialisation
- Meet friends regularly (I try to meet my different friendship groups at least once a month)
- Make new friends
- Push boundaries in social circles to develop my persona

Move into my own home within the next 12 months (I still live with my parents). I know that logistically this is a massive problem for my dating life.

Create a second source of income
- Earn £100 per month through some sort of side hustle [/list]

I can put up my body photo in another part of the forums relevant to improving physique.

Ive read that. Even knowing to says to not look, I succumb to my old ways sometimes. Starting to recognize the patterns that make me want a session, and stopping it from there.

Really enjoy the articles on this site. Got up to Day 53 AA program back in 2015 as a virgin. Started doing real approaches after meeting someone more experienced that gave me that push. Grinded cold approaches until I met my now ex-gf. Ended my 4 year abusive relationship just about a year ago and ready to move on and meet girls again. Slept with 2 girls off tinder after the first few months and a lot of go no where dates. (Had 2 different girls at my place on the first date and I’d just end up with a make out but once I start reaching for their clothes it’s a no “I’m not that type of girl” type thing then immediately ghosted afterwards) I understand the reasons now in hindsight but doesn’t matter at this point in time. Don’t have much AA anymore I’m still able to hit on a girl with the “your pretty cute. Are you single?” when I’m just going about my day buying groceries or running errands. No results from it yet. Still need some work on that.

Goals currently is to hit the gym/diet after I fully recover from the car accident I was in.

Grow a beard. Just started using minoxidil.

Start being able to approach any girl that I’m into as if I’ve done it a thousand times and get laid from it.

Finish my degree

I'm a very late bloomer was always too shy to talk with women growing up and I guess it stuck with me. Had 3 or 4 Gfs over the years but nothing that I really enjoyed. Less than 10 lays lifetime - Feel like I have some serious catching up to do.

- I am 32 years old
- Work as an IT Manager.
- Live In the UK.

Long term goal:
- Get laid more and experience a better sex life.

Short term goals:
- Loose Weight so am in classified in healthy range (currently 120KG)
