jake D does raise a valid point. That's certainly a sinkhole that comes with retention. I'm quite susceptible to it. I recommended retention earlier more so because prolonged dry spells don't do us any good, neither from a wellbeing nor a game point-of-view. Better to have something, rather than nothing. However, when you have an abundance of options, that doesn't matter as much.
